How to find out release dates for concerts, events and other venues?

I go to ticketmaster to buy tickets as soon as i hear on tv or on radio. All the time i encounter a message like this: “Sorry, no exact matches were found, but other tickets may still be available.”, which means the tickets are sold out.

So i do not want to buy through other websites, but how do i find out release dates for concerts and dates. Is there a website or a portal where such info is available?

Yes there is, go to pollstar.com and type in your area or the city you want info for. Or you can look up bands on that site, or go to the band’s website itself and look for tour info.
FYI-The message you’re seeing on ticketmaster just means that tickets in the certain section aren’t available, TM will release tickets closer to the concert date (just get them as “Will call” or pickup at the box office), or look for then in a cheaper section or general admission. Only if you can’t find tickets in ALL of the sections including gen admission or say like balcony seats or seats up high in a stadium then the show is sold out.
There’s always the option of going to a ticketmaster outlet or box office but with today and the internet most tickets just sell out very fast and you’re better off with a fast internet connection and buying directly from Ticketmaster the day of the sale or very soon after that depending on the band or event.
